Best of 6 months worth of music
It still seems odd to me that people tend to remember me best from my days of DJing. I guess that, although I’ve done many other things, my eclectic tastes and (for the most part) decent recommendations stuck with people over the years. For all of the people that have continued to ask, and those that were afraid to, I give my top three picks (so far) for the first half of this year (or last 6 months). Please take into consideration that this list is taken from that which I enjoy for my personal listening pleasure, and is not listed in any particular order (Chip’s Top 25 from 1989 to Present will be forthcoming sometime this summer).
My personal favorites, “Glow” by Alien Ant Farm, “This Love” by Maroon5, and “Fell In Love with a Boy” by Joss Stone (she sung this on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno), although every song on these three albums is well worth the listen.
Apologies to anyone with philosophical aversions to Amazon.comlistings. It’s quick, easy, and usually cheaper than going to a retail store.

Sadly, no. Music is so connected to mood, I could never arrive at a clear Top 25 I was happy with. Maybe someday. 🙂
